Client Services

Scholtz Partners International (Pty) Ltd specialises in the following services

Permanent Placements

Candidates placed with the intention of being a permanent employee after their initial probation period. Scholtz Partners International (Pty) Ltd guarantees all Permanent Placements for a period of 3 months, should a candidate leave within this 3 months period, Scholtz Partners International will replace free of charge (Terms and Conditions applied).

Contracting Placements

Candidates are placed over a fixed short-term period on contract e.g. 3months /6 months or 1 year. This is ideal for clients seeking a candidate to step in for a employee going on maternuity leave or planned leave or should there be a short term project in place. (Terms and Conditions applied).

Retainer

Scholtz Partners International (Pty) Ltd also offers our clients the option of signing a retainer, where we aim to supply you with as many candidates as possible for a set fee every month, over a 12/24 Month period.


The Benefits of a Retainer:

  • A set amount payable at the start of each month (regardless of the number of placements made in that month)
  • A dedicated team of recruiters working your positions.
  • The maximum recruitable number of candidates (depending on the geographical location of the position/office plus the number of prospective candidates in that area) will be sent through for client consideration as per the job specification received from the client.
  • Online/Zoom interviews with every candidate
  • Reference checks will be done on each candidate, a minimum of one reference will be confirmed.
  • Replacement candidates are unlimited (for the duration of the retainer) until the right candidate has been found and made a permanent employee of the company.

Interview Tips and TRICKS

Another important part of looking for employment is the interview process, we understand that this can be very stressful for most candidates below are some Interview tips and tricks that can help you nail that interview.

  • Don’t be late for the interview. Should you need to travel for the interview ensure you rather arrive 15 minutes early. Our saying in Recruitment is 15 minutes early is on time.
  • Rather overdress for an interview than arrive for an interview underdressed. Your appearance is a massive part of the selection process consider asking the interviewer before the interview what the dress code is at the workplace or do some research on their website to see if they are very corporate or more smart casual.
  • Once you have been invited for an interview understand that the employer or interviewer has seen something in your CV that they like so make sure you do some research on the company and have at least 2-3 quality questions ready for them to be asked in the interview as this will show that client that you are interested in the position and took the time to find out more about them.
  • Be confident and believe in yourself. Your mentality towards the position and interview is important, it is up to you to make that interviewer feel like you can add great value to their business and that you are the best candidate for that role, believe in yourself.
  • Most companies will employ someone for the following three reasons, they either feel you will save them money or you will make them money or they feel you have a skill or ability that they need to progress their business. Once you understand this it can make your ability to answer questions you are asked easier as you can guide your answers back to one or all three of those points.
  • If possible bring a copy of your CV and relevant documents with you to the interview, also don’t be afraid to make notes, this will show them that you are prepared.
  • Have a good attitude towards the interview and be positive, a beautiful big smile can win many people over.
  • Should your Interview be via Zoom or Google Meet, make sure that you have a good internet connection and ensure that you are in a private room with a neutral background so that you or the interviewer does not get distracted.
  • Should something happen and you are not able to attend the interview it is professional to let that recruiter or interviewer know ASAP that you won't be able to attend and ask them politely to reschedule to a time that is convenient for them. Canceling the interview 10-15 minutes before the time can be seen as unprofessional unless it is under circumstances that were not under your control.
  • Know your CV, after all it is your CV that landed you the interview!
